As a buyer I find lighting one of the hardest things to fall in love with. I’m beyond fussy as  I want to marry a whole plethora of different vibes and styles in my pad from classic and glam to quirky to downright cool. One of the reasons I started designing my own range actually was because I felt there was such a gap in the market bridging quirky yet luxe. Little did I know that some of the coolest stores in the world would be stocking them from Liberty to Lane Crawford, nor did I ever imagine the range I’ve designed for Debenhams would continually be the top sellers, it has totally overwhelmed us.

All that aside with my weekly shopping column I’ll be highlighting cool products from all over (not just my stuff, how selfish would that be)! So let’s get down to biz here are my top top top 6 lamps

Anthena Pendant, BHS

light1I love the simplicity of this pendant , its timeless, classic and looks so well made!
This remote control tealight candles are a great combination for this lamp.

BTC Lamp, M&S

light2With a hammered finish these pendants are contemporary, sleek and perfect for almost anywhere. Even more dramatic when grouped together!

Issac Sconce Brass, Schoolhouse Electric

light3Simple, elegant, glam this is the perfect bedside reading light I reckon. Made from hand-spun brass its hand finished with an aged black patina. It’s on my want list, two actually are on my want list.

Industrial Style Brown & Copper wall light,  Rockett St George

light-9Cool wall lights are super hard to find, believe me I scour the world for them.  No need to look any further mind as I’ve found the perfect one. Industrial in vibe with that coppery metallic inner I am hooked!

Parrot & Pelican Lamps, Debenhams

light7light6Quirky, luxurious (they’re flocked after all) and designed by moi these guys sold out almost instantly when they  hit the shelves. They lighten the mood and instantly make me smile. All of us have been utterly blown away by the response so a big thank you to everyone who has brought them!
