I do love autumn, not so much winter. Autumn is a season of warming spices (turmeric lattes), crisp air, and lots of squash-related recipes (spiralised with a walnut, sage and parsley pesto), Yum!

Being a total and utter foodie I love a new season and this year we’ve introduced a pantry into our mix online and in store. Big ceramic serving platters, beautiful casserole dishes and small batch condiments like infused salts (shallot and beetroot is totally, yummy)!

I don’t know about you guys, but I want my kitchen to feel as cool as the rest of the space in my pad, which is why I fill my space with hand thrown plates, marble shelves and beautiful condiments. Small indulgences, I call them.

In the Design Classes I run, I spend quite a bit of time on how to make kitchens cool and the easiest trick on the planet is open storage and then heaps of plates, bowls, glasses and condiments. Oh, and by the way as we continue through the season we’ll be adding lots more to the pantry!
