A little up the road from my London pad is the new members club to hit the Shoreditch skyline, The Curtain.  A hotel and members club it recently opened in May this year, and I’ve only just got round to writing about it – it’s crazy busy here.

It is said to rival the fabulous Soho House, Shoreditch with a 120 rooms a indulgent members’ club, wellness area, the delicious Red Rooster Harlem restaurant and a showstopper of a rooftop!

On the corner of Curtain Road in the heart of Shoreditch, it seems to be hot on the heel’s of The Ned – another House Crush of mine –  The Curtain is a new venture from New York hotelier Michael Achenbaum.

Once a 1970’s office block Designer Duncan Miller Ullmann crafted The Curtain’s interiors, which dazzle with exposed brickwork, hardwood flooring, and black-framed windows. Members and public spaces are awash with bold artworks curated by gallerist, Steve Lazarides.

Take a look around at the pics – I know I wouldn’t mind a glass of something on that rooftop!
