I don’t think it’s ever possible to have too much art. Collecting it gives me more pleasure than almost anything else. Some of my art collection is from galleries, artists, fairs – I can’t get enough!

I recently came across the Affordable Art Fair, in Battersea Park. The fair shows emerging artists alongside household names from both the UK and abroad. It has a whole mix of works from installation pieces, paintings and photography, to prints and sculpture, so it really has a mix bag of treasures to be found.

That’s why I am super-excited to tell you guys we have teamed up, and we are doing a fabulous new collaboration to create my very own edit: My Affordable Art Fair x Abigail Ahern

The Affordable Art Fair x Abigail Ahern Edit is available from under £500 jam-packed with a mixture of artwork by amazing artists with moody palettes, texture and pops of colour. Here is a sneak peek of three beauties from my collection. I love the pops of colour and the different media, which can really mix up a vibe of a space. I couldn’t be more excited!

Adding art to your walls is one of the most transformative things you can do. It gives them instant kudos as well as adding colour, dimension and texture. It’s not easy finding the perfect piece but once you start, it’s kind of addictive.

The simplest thing to do is when buying art is to buy something because you love it, that way it will stay with you forever. I never buy to flip it, I buy because I love it, I buy to keep.

I love this guy. My love of dogs is obviously bursting out here. Casual, clever and super cool! I love the fun mix of media and the playful idea of having animals as a muse – love, love, love.

Right, I am off to clear some space for the new collection.

Make sure you check out The Affordable Art Fair Thursday 19th October 2017, until Sunday 22nd. Get it in your diary. I can’t wait to see my NEW collaboration with the wonderful team at The Affordable Art Fair. You should come, and pick something amazing for your pad!
