OUR BLACK FRIDAY

Hi all, just a quick update on some of the bargainous events going on in the run-up to Black Friday. We will of course be running our own sales in store (at our Islington flagship and Abigail Ahern Flowers) and online too, starting tomorrow. Get excited! There’s some great buys to be had even if I do say so, with up to 70% off and discounts across lighting, mirrors, accessories, our star faux plants and flowers – you name it. I must say that the sale is really truly strictly limited from Friday 25th – Monday 28th November. I’m standing firm on this one, and the discounts are only for that 4 day sale period so act fast.

SECRET SELFRIDGES SALE

Meanwhile, there’s also some fun events going on with our partners that I wanted to let you guys know about. Did you know that Selfridges have a secret sale? I didn’t until they became a stockist of our own-label range, but I’m pretty damn excited about it. Starting today they’re running a very hush-hush invitation only “Christmas comes early” sale. You can get 20% off homewares (including our own fabulous fauxs, of course) by using the promo code SELFCCE online or showing your sale invite in store. The sale kicks off today and only runs until Sunday 27th. It’s not signposted in stores even – you just have to be in the know! Just a quick winkwink heads up from me.

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING PARTIES AT HEAL’S

If that’s not enough (and if you haven’t collapsed from shopping yet!) Heal’s are throwing their Christmas shopping party TONIGHT. Drop by for bubbly, mince pies, live carols and 10% discount off absolutely everything. That’s a recipe guaranteed to give you a warm glow, I reckon. They’re throwing shopping parties at every Heal’s store dotted up and down the country by the way, so please come and visit wherever you are. (I’m obsessed with how beautiful our newest faux flower stand looks in Redbrick Mills.)

Exciting stuff hey? I love a sale as much as the next person so you’ll see me taking advantage of the Heal’s and Selfridges sales and probably tottering around London loaded with shopping bags. The only thing I would say is to stay true to your own style and don’t get totally swept away in the Black Friday hype. Remember to buy things you really love – this is the time for finally committing to that chandelier you’ve been lusting after for ages, rather than a mad moment to fill your car boot with stuff you’re never going to look at again.
