Hi guys, first things first is a reveal this morning. After a major revamp we’ve just launched the new look website. Hope you guys like, I happen to love it! It feels much more us, tons of room for gorgeous photography, looks super sleek and we’ll be getting much more fun content and extras up there for you all too. My personal fave new part? You can shop things from my instagram! I’m a bit obsessed with it, though sorry the M’s are not for sale.
You can see we’ve got a bit of a lush, overgrown jungly vibe going on. Definitely how I’m feeling this month. You’ll notice all our new faux botancials are up too which I’m hugely excited about. There’s Gem’s incredible handtied bouquets, sweet new succulents and cacti, and all the flowers and foliage which made a massive splash at Birmingham.
To see them “in the flesh” as it were our new own label fauxs will be launched at Abigail Ahern Flowers at Heal’s on the 23rd September. There’s a big fat party at Heal’s in conjunction with London Design Festival that night, so we’re launching then to celebrate in style! All you guys are invited, and you’ll get to see exactly what took Birmingham by storm. I don’t want to spoil it but I’m just going to say as well as taking faux botanicals to a whole other level we’ve also reinvented hanging baskets. Used to be naff maybe but they are now the coolest thing out there – trust me on this I cannot wait to show you!
The party is at the Heal’s Building on Tottenham Court Road, 18:00 – 21:00 on 23rd September. As well as us launching London’s first ever faux florist, there’ll be heaps of cool stuff happening in the rest of the store, from workshops to in-store DJs, cocktail bars and champagne. Hope to see you there!
If you can’t make it on the 23rd I’m also super excited to tell you about our flower workshops we’re be running at Abigail Ahern Flowers. They’re demo classes so you’ll be able to see just how Gem casts her magic over everything and anything, and chat with the team about how to recreate the look at home.
Our first workshop shows you easy ways to cosy up your home for fall using foliages and berries as well as focal flowers. roses in a box are a pretty sight and the beautiful textural displays to unique arrangements; it’s a fabulous class. Then we head straight into Christmas with a workshop on decorating for the holidays. They’ll be up on our site to book soon, and as it’s a small space probably best to book early. We’ll also have a whole host of other new things – a consultancy service, fauxs for bespoke events (fashions shows, weddings, private parties etc), making arrangements for stores and contract design AND hold bespoke flower parties as a really cool treat for you and some friends.
I know I keep saying this but it really is going to flower shops to a new level. We’re blasting into new territory to give London the coolest faux flower shop on the planet. Excited? I am!
